Please say a prayer for Scarlett, a puppy with parvo who was dumped in a ditch in Bradford County. She is now with FUR and already hospitalized.
We suspect it was a backyard breeder who didn’t want to spend money to vaccinate her or take her to the vet when she got sick. Fortunately someone witnessed the puppy being dumped and picked her up and brought her straight to the shelter. She tested positive for parvo so they couldn’t bring her inside the shelter.
Thank you Deputy Byrd for your quick action, Kelly Thomas and Kristine Stokes for helping to network her, and Lisa for helping transport her in short notice.
Thank you Dr. Mack and the staff at Palm Valley Veterinary Center for once again stepping up to help urgent babies in an emergency.
𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱!
We will need a foster once she’s ready to leave the vet. It’s actually not very difficult, it just requires a couple extra steps and we can provide everything you need. And if you’d like to help us save this sweet baby please let us know.
