Cindy Lou Who was a Tiny Girl with a Huge Mammary Tumor

Cindy Lou Who is a tiny girl who came to us with a huge mammary tumor, and 3 more smaller tumors in her mammary chain. Cindy Lou had surgery the same day as Ozzy, and Dr. Darrow removed her tumor. In her case, it's all good news. The tumors were estrogen driven, and because he spayed her at the same time, her prognosis is very good.

The other exciting news is that Cindy Lou Who has been adopted by Elaine Monroe, and she has a new “fur sister” Peggie Sue. Thank you Erin for doing the home visit, meet & greet, and all your help along the way.
Thank you Torena Rowe and Joan Sosin for transporting her. Thank you Dr. Bissell and the staff at Sandbridge Veterinary Center for taking good care of our baby, and to Erica Lee at Paw Shapers mobile groomers for making her look and feel like a million dollar baby.

Thank you Ellie Streck for fostering her, spoiling her, and taking great care of her, and thank you Valerie Losego for helping with the adoption. We're so happy for this sweet little girl!

Sick and injured animals like Cindy Lou need help fast. Every donation helps, but Monthly donors give us flexibility to respond immediately when there is an emergency. When there is a hoarding case or a hurricane, a dog with a gunshot wound or a cruelty case, we have to act quickly. We don't have time to do a fundraiser, and wait for those funds to get to us. Your monthly donation can help us save lives again and again.
